Thank you for the music!
Last weekend I bid farewell to Singapore Musical Box Museum, as it is the last day of my exhibition. It’s really been a fantastic collaboration and I’m very appreciative to the team there, who have all been so kind and made me and my paintings feel at home.
Thank you also to all of you who have taken the time to come to see my work. It’s been wonderful to meet you all and I’ve been really touched by all of the kind messages that have been left in the guestbook.
During the exhibition I have found homes for 5 of the 8 paintings and I’ve also been asked to complete a number of new commissioned works, for which I’m very grateful. As promised, together with the Musical Box Museum, I will be donating part of the proceeds from these sales to a local children’s cancer charity.
One of the highlights from the last few days of the exhibition was a special commission of “Harry” was presented as surprise gift from Hugh to Vicki on her birthday. To be a part of the creation of these happy moments is a great reminder of why I do this and it gives me energy to do more.
So now onwards to Maduro SG! Exciting times ahead!
